Rapamune

What If I Take an Overdose?

An overdose with Rapamune could be dangerous. Seek immediate medical attention if you or someone else may have taken too much of this medication.

(Click Rapamune Overdose for more information.)

How Should Rapamune Be Stored?

Rapamune tablets should be stored at room temperature, away from light. The oral solution should be stored in the refrigerator, protected from light. If needed, the oral solution can be stored at room temperature for up to 15 days. Once opened, the oral solution must be used within one month. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children and pets.

Rapamune oral solution may develop a slight haze when refrigerated. This is normal and not a cause for concern. If a haze develops, allow the liquid to come to room temperature and gently shake it until the haze disappears.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you miss a dose of Rapamune, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, however, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
