When and How to Take It

Some general considerations to keep in mind during treatment with Nexavar include the following:
  • This medication comes in tablet form. It is usually taken by mouth twice a day.
  • Nexavar should be taken on an empty stomach at least one hour before or two hours after food.
  • Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not split, crush, or cut the tablets.
  • Try to take your doses at the same times each day to keep an even level of the drug in your bloodstream.
