Generic Mycophenolate

Not all forms of mycophenolate are available in generic form. At this time, only mycophenolate mofetil has generic versions: 250-mg capsules and 500-mg tablets. The FDA has assigned these generics an "AB" rating, meaning they are considered equivalent to the brand-name medication. All of the other types of mycophenolate are protected by patents, the earliest of which is set to expire in September 2013.
