If you have advanced renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer), your healthcare provider may prescribe Torisel. This medicine works to slow down the growth of cancer cells by blocking the action of certain enzymes in the body. In some cases, a healthcare provider may recommend off-label uses for Torisel, such as for treating a type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma called mantle cell lymphoma.
