If you combine certain immunosuppressants, live vaccinations, or various other drugs with Orthoclone OKT3, potentially serious interactions may occur. Some of these reactions can increase your risk for problems like infections or problems with brain function. To help avoid potentially serious complications, make sure your healthcare provider is aware of all other medications, vitamins, and supplements you are taking before receiving Orthoclone OKT3.

An Overview of Interactions With Orthoclone OKT3

Orthoclone OKT®3 (muromonab-CD3) may react with a number of other medications. Some of the products that may lead to drug interactions with Orthoclone OKT3 include:

      • Cortisone
      • Dexamethasone (Decadron®)
      • Fludrocortisone (Florinef®)
      • Hydrocortisone (Cortef®)
      • Methylprednisolone (Depo-Medrol®, Medrol®)
      • Prednisolone (Pediapred®)
      • Prednisone
      • Triamcinolone (Kenalog®)
