Who Should Not Take Neoral?You should not take Neoral if you:
- Are allergic to it, cyclosporine, or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
- Are taking Neoral for rheumatoid arthritis or psoriasis and have kidney disease, untreated high blood pressure, or cancer.
- Have psoriasis and are receiving psoralen and ultraviolet A light (PUVA) therapy, ultraviolet B light (UVB) therapy, methotrexate (Rheumatrex®), or other immunosuppressants, radiation therapy, or coal tar.
