Kidneys Home > Inlyta Side Effects

In clinical trials, some of the most commonly reported side effects of Inlyta included diarrhea, fatigue, and nausea. Although some people may not experience any problems with this drug, most people will develop some type of reaction during Inlyta treatment. Some reactions can be potentially serious, such as chest pain or blurred vision, and may require medical treatment.

An Introduction to Inlyta Side Effects

Just like any medicine, Inlyta® (axitinib) can cause side effects. In fact, most people who take Inlyta will develop some sort of side effect. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.
(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with Inlyta. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list with you.)

Common Side Effects With Inlyta

Inlyta has been studied extensively in clinical trials. In these studies, the side effects that occurred in a group of people taking Inlyta were carefully documented and compared to the side effects that occurred in a similar group of people taking a different kidney cancer medication.
