Kidneys Home > Interaction Between CellCept and Acyclovir
If you take CellCept® (mycophenolate mofetil) with acyclovir (Zovirax®), drug interactions may occur. Combining these medications could increase your blood levels of CellCept, as well as your blood levels of acyclovir. This could potentially increase your risk for side effects. Your healthcare provider may choose to monitor you more closely if you take these medicines together.
To minimize your risk of these and other potential drug interactions with CellCept, make sure your healthcare provider is aware of any other prescription or nonprescription medications you are taking, as well as any herbal supplements or vitamins.
