Drug Interactions With Everolimus

ACE inhibitors, live vaccinations, echinacea, and certain other drugs may cause negative interactions when combined with everolimus. Some of these reactions can increase the risk for potentially serious side effects or decrease the effectiveness of the medicines. Your healthcare provider may need to monitor you more closely if you are undergoing everolimus treatment, and adjust your dosage amounts as needed.

An Overview of Everolimus Interactions

Everolimus (Afinitor®, Zortress®) may interact with a number of other medications. Some of the drugs that can react with everolimus include but are not limited to:
