Is There a Generic Version?

The active ingredient in Azasan (azathioprine) is available in generic tablets, but only in a 50-mg strength (not in the same strengths as Azasan). Technically, Azasan is considered a generic version of Imuran®, although it is marketed and priced like a brand-name drug (see Generic Imuran for more information).
